UET-Compact 4/s Cartoning Machine

Machine Description

We offer a UET-Compact 4/s cartoning machine for unit cartons, designed for the automatic forming, leaflet insertion and closing of individual cartons.

The machine automatically picks a carton from the carton magazine, erects and opens it, and inserts the leaflet. The product is then manually placed into the carton by the operator, after which the machine automatically closes the carton.

The UET-Compact 4/s is a practical solution for packaging processes where the product is manually loaded while the carton forming, leaflet insertion and closing operations are automated.

Operating Principle

The cartoner performs the following operations:

1. Carton picking from the carton magazine.

2. Carton erecting and opening to prepare it for filling.

3. Automatic leaflet insertion into the carton.

4. Manual product loading by the operator.

5. Folding and closing of the carton flaps.

6. Discharge of the finished, filled and closed carton.

Format Adjustment

The machine is equipped with an adjustable format star, allowing the machine to be set according to the required carton format.

The format star enables precise adjustment of the carton handling system and adaptation of the machine to the carton size being used.

• Carton magazine – carton feeding and folding of the lower side flaps.
