If production falls below expectations in terms of efficiency, if the quality requirements of manufactured products change, if a company wants to replace outdated technology with innovative solutions, or plans to produce new products, it becomes necessary to rebuild existing production lines or create entirely new ones. From an economic (and ecological) perspective, reusing components of a production line instead of disposing of or storing them is advantageous, but not always feasible. But how do you reach potential buyers to let them know a machine is for sale?
If you want to sell independently, you can easily find online platforms to list your machines: classifieds, auction systems, or used machinery marketplaces. Some allow free listings, while others charge a commission when a sale is completed. Specialized platforms and used machinery marketplaces often offer additional services, such as valuation assistance or translation of listings.
Selling through a broker, although it involves a commission, has many advantages. Ensure that the machines are free from third-party claims, pledges, or other encumbrances.
